She was predeceased by: her husband Ricardo Huerta; her son Ricardo "Rico" Huerta; and her grandson Aaron Villalobos. She is survived by: her children, Maria Luisa Martinez (Rick), Viviana Huerta and Veronica Huerta (Eddie); her grandchildren, Diamante M. Hernandez (Juan), Ruben Villalobos, Ricky Martinez, Julian D. Rodriguez, Noah D. Rodriguez, Karina Villalobos, Valeria Villalobos and Angelica Y. Rodriguez; her great grandchild Angel Hernandez; and her son-in-law Julio Rodriguez. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
