He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Lopez and Elvira Lopez; and his wife Patricia Lopez. He is survived by: his children, Juan A. Lopez Jr. (Josephine), Adrian Lopez, Efrain Lopez and Cecilia Marie Lopez; his siblings, Manuel Lopez and Epifanio Lopez; and his grandchildren, Jacob Anthony Lopez, Joshua Alex Lopez, Hailey Jay Lopez and Joseph Abram Lopez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church (1300 Combes St, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the San Benito Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
