He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Otto Skinner and Aurora G. Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Romana Lopez; his children, Francisco Javier Skinner Jr. (Frank), Michelle Skinner, Danny Skinner, Alyssa Skinner and Javier Jose Skinner; and his aunt Avelina (Angelica Guerrero).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 11:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Las Rusias Cemetery (Rangerville Rd, San Benito, TX 78586).
