With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herlinda G. Villarreal of San Benito, Texas, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benito Guerra and Belen Flores; her husband Ovidio Villarreal; and her sisters, Guadalupe Vasquez (Santos), Maria Eloisa Delgado (Daniel) and Maria Elena Delgado (Rodolfo).
She is survived by: her children, George Villarreal, Blanca Nieves Villarreal and Belinda Nydia Villarreal; her grandchildren, George Jesse Villarreal, Lisa Elaine Villarreal, Vianca Victoria Velasquez, Rose Irene Velasquez, Chelsi Kristine Velasquez and Fannie Velasquez; her great grandchildren, Miguel Hernandez, George Jesse Jr. Villarreal, Julian Villarreal and Scarlett Alcala; and her siblings, Elva Martinez (Ramon), Concepcion Weaver (Ben), Mary Juarez (Juan), Benito Guerra (Elvira) and David Guerra. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Las Rusias Cemetery (Rangerville Rd, San Benito, TX 78586).
