He is survived by: his wife Maria Teresa Guerra; his children, Fidel Guerra Jr. (Yvonne), Jose Angel Guerra (Nora), Rolando Guerra (Inez) and Maribel Guerra Huffman (Brock); his grandchildren, Irmalinda, Clarissa, Briana, Elizabeth, Kennedy, Presley, Jennifer, Jose Angel Jr., Amanda, McKayla, Katarina and Kaitlyn; and his brothers, Eulalio (Otilia), Guillermo (Alicia) and Juan (Flora).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church (121 Garrison Dr, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
