He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria R. Compean and Martin C. Compean. He is survived by: his children, Ana Compean (Leo Lopez) and Fernando Compean, Jr. (Gabriela); his siblings, Gloria E. Compean and Martin Compean (Carmen); his close friend Joe Gomez; and his uncle Carlos Ruiz (Elisa). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 nieces, 3 nephews.
