He was predeceased by: his father Antonio Barrera. He is survived by: his mother Epifania Bueno Barrera; and his siblings, Dora Elia Rodriguez (Alfredo), Maria Elena Rodriguez (Ramiro), Juan J. Barrera (Silvia), Benito Barrera (Anselma), Lourdes Barrera Diaz (Tito), Soraida Ramirez (Antonio), Araceli Blanco (Jose) and Rosalinda Contreras (Mario). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
