It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merline Byley in San Augustine, Texas, who passed away on September 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Noel Mancil (Josie); her son Jeffery Hayden; her mother Josie Mancil; and her siblings, Roger Mancil, William Mancil, John Mancil and Nancy Jane Mancil Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Hayden; her former husband Fred Byley; her sister Earline Mancil; her daughter Helen Mullins (Mike); and her granddaughters, Shasta Lovell and Tiffany Mullins. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
