He was predeceased by: his parents, Sixto M. Cortez and Catarina Cerda; and his siblings, Martiriano Cortez and Julia Torres. He is survived by: his friend Ysaac Cortez Sr.; his wife Paula Cortez; and his children, Maria Harris (Richard), Rebecca Cortez, Ysaac Cortez Jr. (Oralia), Theresa Jimenez (Henry), Leticia Daniels (Rodney), Laura Cortez (Paul Martinez) and Nicholas Cortez. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-greatgrandchildren; and many other close relatives and friends.
