We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 77, Yolanda Herrera Mata (San Antonio, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jose Herrera. She is survived by: her children, Chrissy Recio and Eric John Mata; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Michelle Cortez and Justin Renteria; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Grace Cortez and Isaiah Jon Cortez; and her close friend MaryAnn Garzes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the March Avenue Baptist Church (927 March Ave, San Antonio, TX 78214). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the San Jose Burial Park (8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214).
