He was predeceased by: his parents, Malford Sr. "Shorty" Friesenhahn and Geneva Friesenhahn; and his siblings, June Stolowski, Malford Friesenhahn Jr. "Sonny Boy" and Norma Friesenhahn Allan.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Friesenhahn; his children, Sheila Vacek (Jason), Julie Dzierzanowski (Anthony) and Stacy Zimmerle (Nicole); his grandchildren, Mackinley Bruce (Christian), Kaitlin Dzierzanowski, Sidney Dzierzanowski and Ashlynn Zimmerle; his great grandchild Callum Bruce; and his sister Joyce Overby (Bill). He is also survived by two other siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery (7955 Real Rd, San Antonio, TX 78263).
