It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velia Ida Aguirre Moran of San Antonio, Texas, born in Karnes City, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Guerrero Aguirre Sr. and Carolina Guerrero Aguirre. She is survived by: her children, Nathan Jeffery Moran (Kathleen), Chris Moran and Jacqueline Ann Moran Coronado (Michael); her grandchildren, Fiona Elizabeth Moran Revels (John), Kristopher Moran Coronado (Violet), Antonia Frances Moran (Becky), Erik Michael Coronado and Kayla Nicole Coronado; and her great grandchildren, Iris Aurora Coronado, Oliver Favio Coronado and Emilio Kit Moran.

Velia passed due to complications of Alzheimer's.
