He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Valentin Lopez and Aurora Lozano; his granddaughter Elise Michelle Haug; his wife Maria Julia "Julie" Lopez; his children, Priscilla Medrano (Sol Medrano), Diana Haug (Chris Haug), Sandra Cook and Robert Lopez; his grandchildren, Juliana Gonzales, Ariana Medrano, Liliana Medrano, Sol Jr. Medrano, Eliana Medrano, CJ Haug, Nichole Cook, Patrick Cook and Sean Cook; and his siblings, Jose Lopez (Tina Lopez), Josie Morales (Mauricio Morales) and Minerva Gutierrez (Emilio Gutierrez).
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the San Juan de Los Lagos Parish and Shrine (3231 El Paso St, San Antonio, TX 78207). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
