He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Yates and Claire Yates; and his siblings, Sammy Yates and Kika Kowalski Leonard (Louis Kowalski). He is survived by: his wife Deanna Yates; his daughters, Karen Yates Hopkins (Tom), Linda Yates Nanney (Jeff) and Susan Yates Dulske (John); his brother Mike Yates (Lil); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Yates and Philip Felber (Karen). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
