He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Allison and Virginia Allison; his sister Lucinda Allison Hawkins; his son Donald Lee Allison; and his grandson Robert Chayne Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Allison; his brother Rick "Fred" Allison (Martina); his children, Joi Barnes (Mike) and Fritz "Wolf" Allison (Tina); his grandchildren, Virginia Gonzales (late Ruben), Chantelle Barnes (Devon Flores), John Larison Jr. and T. J. Allison; and his great grandchildren, Shelby (Zeke), Emily, Erin Gonzales, Conner Vaughn, Remington Wade, Michael Fagan, Kody and Marshall Bishop.
