He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bir (Barkhurst); his children, Anthony Francis Bir (Elaine), Clare Maria Carrillo (Ron), Philip Richard Bir, Celine Marya Bir-Olvera (David) and John Andrew Bir (Noemi); and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Eliana, Madeline, Joshua, Zachary, Matthew, Chloe, Thomas, Johnny, Hanna, Benjamin and Nicole. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear family friends.
