He is survived by: his children, Juan Ramon Castillo Jr., Alicia Garcia (Juan), Sotero Olivares III (Leslie), Dulce Olivares and Adan Olivares; his grandchildren, Enrique Garcia, Amy Garcia, Amanda Castillo, Mia Castillo, Juan Ramon Castillo III and Alicia Lee Rangel; and his siblings, Alma Olivares, Guillermo Olivares and Sergio Olivares. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, TX 78043). A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Laredo Cemetery (3200 N Meadow Ave, Laredo, TX 78040).
