He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth C. Ortiz, Fred M. Casillas, Christopher M. Casillas and Robert M. Casillas; his grandchildren, Veronica Ortiz, Fred P. Casillas, Crystal R. Espinoza (Mando), Desiree N. Casillas, Destiny D. Casillas, Robert Casillas and Christina Thomas (Timothy); and his great grandchildren, Viviana V. Ortiz, Vincent S. Mendoza, Jaslynn N. Espinoza, Jaelynn R. Espinoza, Serenity R. Sanchez, Jesse Z. Sanchez, Sara N. Ortiz, Timothy L. Thomas Jr., Chase S. Thomas and Adalynn B. Mandujano. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; other family members and friends.
