He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco P. Martinez and Elena G. Martinez; his niece Estella Valdez; and his sisters-in-law, Susie B. Martinez and Mary Helen Martinez.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Martinez (Debra) and Sylvia Valdez (Fermin); his grandchildren, Angela Valdez, Frank Martinez Jr. and Itza Martinez; and his siblings, Eloiza Valdez (Edward), Guillermo Martinez and Alfredo Martinez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
