He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Acosta and Octavia Acosta; and his siblings, Mike Acosta, Sonny Acosta and Irma Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Emma; his children, James, Jacob, Jimmy, Andre Jr. and Monica; and his grandchildren, Alicia, Xavier, Jacob, Alan, Mark, Gabriel, Bobby, Johnny, Michael, Victoria, Olivia, Little Andre, Christian, Julianna, Andrea, Jayden, Alexis and Liam.
