He was predeceased by: his wife Estefana. He is survived by: his children, Samuel R. Garza (Melinda), Steven Garza (Cynthia), Daniel Garza, Stephanie Garza and Sandra Gizzi (Lee); and his brother Patricio Garza. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Angelus Funeral Home Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (1710 Clower, San Antonio, TX 78201). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
