She was predeceased by: her parents, Maximo Barrientos and Juanita Barrientos; her husband Abraham M. Gallegos II; her daughter Mary Jane Davila; her son-in-law Richard Davila; and her sister Juanita Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Abraham B. Gallegos III (Silvia) and Gerrie Balderas (Richard); her sister Lupie Padilla; her grandchildren, Mona Finnegan (Michael), Abraham Gallegos IV (Nicole), Nikki Gomez (Rene), Maximo Davila (Rachel), Stephen Davila (Lisa), Christopher Davila (Mayra), Jonathan Davila (Clarissa), Andrew Balderas, Krystyne Martinez and Mathew Balderas; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Lilly, Olivia Abraham, Eden, Aiyden, Isabel, Richard, Adrian, Angie, Julia, Stephanie, Ashley of Jameson, CJ, Delilah, Elijah, Josiah and Lina; and her great great grandchildren, Benjamin and Eliana.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Ruth B. Gallegos will be forever remembered for her countless contributions to her family and community, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her.
