He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliud Rodriguez and Bertha Herrera of Rodriguez; and his great grandchild Ruben Michael Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Rodriguez; his children, Myrna Rodriguez Esquivel (Carlos), Eliud Rodriguez (Jennifer) and Zelvia Castillo (Alex); and his sister Sylvia Rodriguez. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and his extended family and friends.
