He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Estrada and Ofelia G. Estrada. He is survived by: his wife Rosa V. Estrada; his children, Daniel Perez, Herlinda Tovar (Estrada), Sylvia Garcia, Cynthia Estrada Cantu (Roy Cantu), Jeannette Estrada-Estrada (Michael Estrada) and Ruben Clemente Estrada (Estrada II); and his siblings, Rebecca Pina (late Leo Pina), Manuel Estrada (late Dorothy Estrada), Susena Salazar (Ruben Salazar), Ofelia E. Lopez (Luciano Lopez) and Margie Elizondo (Pedro Elizondo). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Ruben had countless friends near and far, Stacy's Sports Bar Pre-covid was his 2nd home.
