He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Varela and Pedro G. Garcia; and his former wife Carolyn Garcia. He is survived by: his son Roland Curtis Garcia; his siblings, Margaret G. Solis (Gilbert), Mary G. Christie, Richard V. Garcia (Linda), Gilbert V. Garcia (Annie) and Anthony V. Garcia; and his friend Roland. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
