He is survived by: his children, Israel Cantu, Brenda Cantu, Laura Cantu (Joe Cantu) and Abigail Cantu (Joseph Arce); and his siblings, Esequiel Cantu Jr. (Audelia), Eloy Cantu (Grace Cantu), Juan Cantu (Cicilia Cantu), Noe Cantu, Elva Cantu and Gloria Johnson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
