He was predeceased by: his parents, Pioquinto Villarreal and Elida Hernandez Villarreal; his brother Alfredo Villarreal; and his nephew David Olivo. He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Garcia Villarreal; his daughters, Katherine Villarreal and Melanie Acosta; his grandchildren, Madeleine Villarreal, Trinity Villarreal Longoria and Connar Villarreal Longoria; his sisters, Mary Olivo, Gloria Almendarez, Elida Guerrero and Julie Garcia; and his godsons, Jason and Kyle Brown. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
