He is survived by: his children, Michelle Herrera, Robert Herrera Jr. and Gabriel Herrera; his sister Elizabeth Herrera; his grandchildren, Robert Thomas Ryno Mendez, Anastacia Herrera, Christopher Jimenez and Iliana Buendia; and also Thomas Adam Mendez.
