It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Anthony Washington (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Mae Barber Washington; his siblings, Booker T. Washington of Ferline Mass, John Chatman and Elmorris Stevens; and his sister-in-law Gwendolyn Horn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Henry D. Mosley, Pauline Davis, Eddie W. Ogilvie and Rochelle Jarmon; his children, Tamara Escribano, Dant'e Horn, Damion Horn and Robert Washington, Jr.; his grandchildren, V'Antra Barrera, Jada Roberts and Cecil Jones, III; and his great grandchildren, James Perry, III, Jordyn Barber and Jornee Barber. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
