Rita M. Salinas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita M. Salinas (San Antonio, Texas), born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pioquinto Medina and Evelyn Hoy Medina (Perry E. Salinas); her brother Joe Medina; her son-in-law Edward L. Monhollen, Jr.; and her grandson John Hoste.

She is survived by: her sister Patricia Hernandez (Mike); her daughters, Debbie, Dahlia Klepac (Denis), Cynthia Monhollen, Sonya Knight (Tom), Rita Saavedra and Sylvia Dennes (Jeff); her grandchildren, Brad Klepac (Jodi), Michelle Hoste, Nicole Hook (Jay), Erin Bordonaro (Mickey), Allison Knight Henry, Brittany Olson (Ryan), Chelsea Aguilar (Justin), Austin Saavedra, Ryan Saavedra, Cameo Jenkins (Dylan) and Colton Dennes; her great grandchildren, Raleigh Jenkins and Rylee Aguilar; her sisters-in-law, Dora Medina and Minerva Rodriguez; and her husband Sembradores of Amistad. She is also survived by her children, family and friends, costumes for the grandchildren.
