He is survived by: his wife Anita Vasquez Mendoza; his parents, Francisco Mendoza and Elia Castaneda; his children, Lisa Corona (Jorge), Barbara Mendoza (Vasquez), Ricardo Jr., Michael, John Anthony and Paul; and his brother Stanley Castaneda. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
