He was predeceased by: his parents, Refugio Cantu and Barbara Gonzalez; and his siblings, Richard Cantu, Rudolph Cantu, Linda Cantu and Rene Cantu.
He is survived by: his children, Kristen Castro, Brian Luna, Julian Cantu and Catherine Cantu; and his grandsons, Jared Jackson and Jack Luna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the M. E. Rodriguez Funeral Home (511 Guadalupe St, San Antonio, TX 78207). A rosary will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
