He is survived by: his wife Eustolia Castro; his children, David Castro, Patricia Castro, Ruben (Gabriela Castro) and Teresa (Richard Gonzalez); his grandchildren, Matthew, Savannah, Nathanial, Rebecca, Sebastian, Evan and Celeste; and his siblings, Ofelia Arzamendi and Roberto Castro.
His contributions to his field were a source of pride for him and those who worked alongside him.
