It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raquel Trevino of San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcos Lara Palacios and Jesusa Trevino (Juan M. Monreal); and her brother Rutilo Lara Trevino. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Monreal, Reyna Monreal and Obdvlia Monreal; her siblings, Abraham Lara, Marcos Lara, Juan Carlos Lara, Francisco Lara, Martha Lara, Febe Lara, Esther Lara, Lidia Lara and Noemi Lara; her sons-in-law, Antonio Huerta and Jesus Badillo; her grandchildren, David Vazquez, Montserrath Monreal, Raquel Huerta, Emmanuel Huerta, Esdras Huerta, Ezequiel Huerta and Julisa Vazquez; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Vazquez and Eliza Vazquez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Texas Funeral Home (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A prayer was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 6:30 PM. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mission San Jose Burial Park (8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214).
