It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raquel De La Garza (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vidal De La Garza and Clemencia Contreras. She is survived by: her children, Fred (Maggie), Lisa (Albert), Marrisa (Richard) and Crystal (Michael); her grandchildren, Sabina, Andrea, Michelle, Matt, Gabrielle, Mark, Melanie, Maggie, Alyssa, Celeste and Kevin; and her siblings, Frances Flores, Vidal De La Garza and Pauline Franco. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Northeast - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels (14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the San Fernando Catholic Cemetery No. II (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
