He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Garza, Sr. and Isidra Adame; and his siblings, Rayna Sepulveda, Mariana Munguia and Ranulfo Garza.

He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his son Daniel (Patricia); his siblings, Jesus Garza, Rene Garza, Elida Ramirez, Marie Hammonds and Gloria Backeberg; his grandchildren, Keeley Garza, Ariel, Jace and Ella Amaro; and his pet Spencer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members.
