He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdalena Vela Luna and Rafael Luna Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lois J. Luna; his children, Olivia Haider (Scott Haider) and Rafael Luna III (Jaime Luna); and his grandchildren, Victoria Haider, Ryan Luna, Alexander Haider and Pierce Luna. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers can be sent to St Monica Catholic Church, 501 North St, Converse, TX 78109, or in lieu of flowers a donation can be made to St. Monica's Relief for the Poor.
