He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Vargas Amaya; his wife Patricia "Pat" Amaya (Gutierrez); his children, Lisa Amaya, Vanessa Amaya (Jeremiah Martinez) and Paul M. Amaya III; his grandsons, Paul "Max" Amaya IV and Luke J. Amaya; his sister Liz Amaya Tovar (Jerry Tovar); his nephews, Gregory, Eric (Izzie) and Michael Tovar; his sister Terry Amaya Montez; his nieces and nephews, RoyJohn and Evelyn; and his aunts and uncles, Eleanor Gray (Bob), JoAnn Ramon (Raymond), Carlos, Ernest, Johnny, Jesse Vitela, Valentina Weatherspoon, Eloisa Chavez and Maryann Cisneros. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
