She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Gerth and Pauline Gerth (Shodrok); her husband Kenneth Wayne Smith Sr.; her son Kenneth Wayne Smith Jr.; and her sisters, Marilyn Kozowyk and Janet Majors.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Chelsie Baird (Ty) and Joshua West; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Smith; her great grandchildren, Tegan and Talon Baird; and her nephew Joseph Kozowyk (Becky).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (14011 FM 1346, St Hedwig, TX 78152). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Cemetery (14011 FM 1346, St Hedwig, TX 78152).
