He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Mauro and Irma Mauro; and his brother Hugo Mauro. He is survived by: his wife Adelina Lidia Mauro; his children, Gustavo Adrian Mauro (Gloria Monterosa) and Hernan Gabriel Mauro (Bianca Montes); his grandchildren, Christian, Matthew, Nicholas and Nina Gabrielle; his brother John Mauro; and his nieces and nephews, Martin, Marina, Laura, Jose, Carlos and Monica.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel MeadowLawn Funeral Home (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
