She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Chopin and Geraldine Chopin; her son Richard Lee Gill; and her cousin Kay Cover Fowler. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Clay Cook, Jr.; her stepsons, Richard Allen Hofauer (Michelle) and George Anthony Hofauer (Michelle); and her cousin Susan Cover Montague.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E, Adkins, TX 78121). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
