With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Monica Basquez Cervantes (San Antonio, Texas), born in Baytown, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 47. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Severo Sr., Dominga Basquez, Faustino and Francisca Cerda. She is survived by: her friend Monica; her parents, Benjamin Sr. Basquez and Nohemi Basquez; her siblings, Jaclyn (George Valencia Sr), Benjamin Jr. (Cristina Basquez) and Ashley (Philip Hasette); her husband Alfredo Cervantes; her children, Jonathon, Taylor, Hunter, Dillon and Joshua Cervantes; and her grandson Luke Cervantes.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vada Hagee Prayer Chapel, Cornerstone Church (18755 Stone Oak Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78258). A reception was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
