He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorothy Burglass Hoffman and Frederick John Hoffman; and his brothers, Gerald L. Hoffman, Donald Hoffman, Larry Hoffman and Frederick John Hoffman, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Olga; his children, Michael C. Hoffman, Jr. (Kristian), Mark G. Hoffman, Martin "Marty" Hoffman, Mathew Hoffman and Michelle Hoffman; his stepson Ray R. Hernandez (Celeste); his grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Tristen, Bryce and Seth; his stepgranddaughter Mary Louise; and his great grandchildren, Birdie and Carter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and host of friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
