She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Fernando Casanova; her husband Jose Alvarado; her mother Micaela Casanova; her siblings, Ramon, Eliseo, Fernando, Sarah and Susie; her grandson Javier; her children, Angelita C. Galindo (Sergio), Carol A. Barrientos and Philip C. Casarez; and her grandchildren, Edward, Christina, Jennifer, Adrian, Joseph and Philip Thomas.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (130 S San Augustine Ave, San Antonio, TX 78237). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the San Fernando Cemetery (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
