He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben M. Blumberg and Lillian Ginsberg; his wife Nettie; and his brother Alvin Blumberg. He is survived by: his children, Jay Blumberg (Nancy), Rebecca Goldman (Charles), Joel Blumberg (Ellen) and Debra Shindler (Eliot); his grandchildren, Jacob Blumberg (Lisa), Jeffrey Blumberg (Molly), Joshua Goldman, Jillian Lipper (Ben), Jamie, Jake Goldman, Sarah, Hannah, Benjamin Blumberg, Ashley, Juliana and Jason Shindler; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Theodore, Oscar Blumberg, Hazel Lipper and Avett Goldman; his brother Elliott Blumberg (Loesja); and his sister-in-law Amelia Blumberg.
