In loving memory of Melanie Lane Smith of San Antonio, Texas, who departed this world on March 16, 2025 at the age of 42. Melanie Lane leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bobbie, James Parker, Catherine and Henry Smith; and her favorite mentee Brianna.
She is survived by: her parents, Laura Smith and John Wayne Smith; her siblings, Melissa Rodgers (Dustin) and Drew Smith (Christina); and her nieces, Anna Rodgers, Emma Smith and Jillian Rodgers. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2350 Central Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
