He is survived by: his parents, Fernando A. Ortiz and Frankie L. Laurents; his daughter Zeriah Lynn Ortiz; and his siblings, Angel Garza, Nandito Ortiz, Maria Garza, Courtney Sanchez and Kayla Oritz.
