She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Herrera and Consuelo Trevino Patino; her husband Martin Gallardo Oviedo, Sr.; and her brothers, Michael John Oviedo and John C. Obadal, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gina Maria Oviedo Lopez and Julian Martin Oviedo (Sonia); her grandchildren, Julianna Marie, Alexandra April Lopez (Marisol), Gabriella Katarina, Emma Micaela Oviedo, John Martin, Jacob Michael Lopez and Julian Martin Oviedo, II (Morgan); her sister-in-law Hortencia Obadal; her nephews, Charles, Christopher and Jason; and her cousins, Lupe Alcorte, Yolanda Gonzales and Gloria Ramirez. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
She lived the remaining years of her life in her daughter's home while recovering from her stroke and eventual diagnosis of Alzheimer's in 2019, and will be dearly missed.
