It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Solis of San Antonio, Texas, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on January 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny J. Solis Sr.; her son Richard G. Solis; her parents, Enrique Aldape and Carlota Benavides Aldape; and her sisters, Belia Kaster, Olivia Montalvo, Emma Olivares and Guadalupe Brantley.
She is survived by: her sister Carlota Cabello; and her children, Roxana Varela (Juan), Rosario Solis, Regina Torres (Salvador) and Johnny J. Solis, Jr. (Tracie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to St. Gerard's Catholic Church in honor of Mrs. Mary L. Solis.
