She was predeceased by: her parents, Gonzalo Castillo and Juanita Castillo; her husband Cayetano; her son Oscar Rene Benavides; her brothers, Gonzalo, Pedro and Raymundo Castillo; and her son-in-law Ariel Chang.
She is survived by: her daughter Rosemary Benavides Chang; her grandsons, Jonah Lee Chang (Aubry T. Chang) and Caytan Ariel Chang; and her great grandchild Izaiah Ramon Chang. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a wide circle of family and friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Timothy Catholic Church (1515 Saltillo St, San Antonio, TX 78207). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
